Pride Aroostook

From the back roads to the back porches, Pride Aroostook is a welcoming & inclusive community of rural & small town LGBTQ+ folks & our allies. We are committed to supporting County residents & providing spaces for us to be our whole, authentic selves.

Aroostook Pride Festival takes place the third weekend in June, but community building events happen year round. 

Maine Queer Health

The Maine Queer Health Community Database is a program of MaineTransNet working to improve LGBTQ+ community health access in Maine through a centralized, community based and reviewed, list of health and wellness providers in Maine. The providers listed offer a wider variety of services, from primary care and mental health services, to sexual health, transition care, and holistic wellness practices.

Q Chat Space for LGBTQ+ teens

Q Chat Space provides online discussion groups for LGBTQ+ teens ages 13 to 19. It is not a forum. It is live and chat based; there is no video or audio. Everyone is chatting during the same pre-scheduled time.

Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence

The Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence works to end domestic abuse, dating abuse, stalking, elder abuse and commercial sex trafficking. 

MECASA: Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault

The Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault is organized to end sexual violence in Maine and to support high quality sexual violence prevention and response within Maine communities.

Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine

Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine provides free services in York and Cumberland counties to anyone affected by sexual assault, sexual harassment, or sexual abuse, through prevention programs, support, education, and advocacy. 

Pride Portland!

Pride Portland! brings people in the Greater Portland, Maine area together for an annual parade and festival to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of the LGBTQ+ movement, raise awareness of the community’s ongoing struggles, and foster an environment of inclusivity, accessibility and solidarity.

TransParent

Parent meetings to provide connection, support & resources to parents and caregivers of gender independent children of any age. 

Midcoast Chapter meetings:
7-8:30 pm every second Wednesday of each month

Congregation Beth El

Congregation Beth El is a Reform Jewish Congregation which strives to create a spiritually, socially, and geographically diverse community.
