Working to Pass LD 912
LD 912 is the bill in the 2018 legislative session to protect LGBTQ youth from the harmful practices of conversion therapies. Many volunteers and youth participated in activities across the state to work toward passing the bill. These included tabling at the Common Ground Fair and targeted polling locations on Election Day in the fall of 2017. Youth leaders testified during the committee hearing for the bill in Feburary and then organized a Youth Lobby Day in early April, leading up to the house and senate votes.
