About EqualityMaine
Founded in 1984, EqualityMaine is the voice of public education and advocacy for LGBT people in Maine. As part of a broader social justice movement, we work in coalition with progressive organizations in Maine and around the country. EqualityMaine currently employs three full-time staff.

The ideal candidates will have strong staff and volunteer management experience, including management of door-to-door canvassing teams, and a history of developing volunteer leadership structures and trainings.

Qualified candidates will also have the ability to work independently, develop clear goals, and provide detailed tracking and regular reporting of progress. All applicants should have a clear commitment to supporting LGBT issues.
