Third Annual Rainbow Ball

APR 9 – 11 (Friday through Sunday) Machias. Third Annual Rainbow Ball Weekend, at the The University of Maine at Machias. The 100% Society would like to invite the community to the TheRainbow Ball which is, as always, an open and affirming chem-free Prom evening that includes dancing, DJ, entertainers, pictures, food and friends. This year’s Rainbow Ball on Saturday April 10th from 7-11pm will have a Back to the 50’s theme! We also have an entire weekend of free events planned for youth. All associated High School, College, Youth groups, and community members (including groups that are allies) are invited to a casual, fun, safe, supervised, friendly and community celebration including a campus admissions preview during the day on Saturday. Our campus is located an hour north of Bar Harbor, ME. We can provide contact information for past chaperones if there are questions and concerns. Rainbow Ball prom tickets for college students and community members cost $15/person and $20/couple (all ticket sales go to support next year's ball)! Admissionfor high school students, youth groups and their chaperones is FREE. This includes room fees (Friday/Saturday), prom tickets and all meals. If your group needs housing accommodations, please RSVP any interest in this event by Monday, March 8, 2010 as we have limited free housing for high school/youth groups. We will also provide assistance with transportation to the Rainbow Ball itself (gas money or ride coordination).
