Join us for a winter adventure designed just for LGBTQ+ teens! This two night, three day winter camping adventure is designed to empower and challenge each participant as we learn to process firewood for fuel, cook on the stoves, carve wood tools for eating, burn wood bowls, create art, and hang out with friends huddled around a warm fire. Participants can expect to develop winter skills, build their confidence and leadership skills, and make new friends in this queer-dedicated nature camp. Participants should be prepared for winter camping conditions such as being outside in the elements of winter, sleeping in a winter tent, and assisting with daily camp chores such as cooking meals. 

Open to ages 13-17; all winter gear can be provided for participants. This unique opportunity is brought to you by EqualityMaine and Campfire Institute in collaboration with The College of the Atlantic.
